The first part of your post said it all. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING TO
LEARN... I do cave and am sick to death of hearing about someone who
actually believes he and his(followers) have all ( only) the answers. I
began wrecking and have been caving 6 or 7 yrs. It is NOT all the way
george sees it. Matter of fact if he saw some of his safety or bottle
divers SKILLS thru my eyes he'd puke( note I did not say them, but their
skills HE would have said something to the effect " they are all #**@##
& ##@*#@. Neither is everyone else a stroke. You can actually learn
from an O.W. student.( May or may not be dive related) You've heard the
saying "action speaks louder than words". Lots of folk ( evidently Bob
included is sick of one sided conversation). I again have picked up
divers fresh out of an A.O.W. class that are better divers than what I've
seen of some of his crew. I am speaking re: bouyancy, resolve to solve
problems and even ability to controll pre panic stages. Talk about
Wakulla NOT being a training ground.....

I would rather learn one thing from a humble man than ten from a self
centered close minded clown. Now a step further.. being Nationaly
certified in rescue work I warrent you this; ANYONE that is that blind to
his personal weakness ( demonstrated by verbal surety) is an accident
waiting to happen. It may not happen but the odds are it will. But then
it will be a stroke or a manufacturer they trusted or ANYONE else.
His actions demonstrate to me he is more interested in being RIGHT than
teaching and THAT IS DANGEROUS.

PS I've used a jersey reel for years on wrecks with fish net all over
them viz 6 inches to 5 feet. I to date have not been hung up on my
Jersey but have on clips. Many times on these dives you look up and there
is net over head.
