>The first part of your post said it all. THERE IS ALWAYS
>SOMETHING TO LEARN...

That's right, and in many cases we learn what not to do.

>I do cave and am sick to death of hearing about someone who
>actually believes he and his(followers) have all ( only) the
>answers.

Tell me where George is wrong. Please!! You may not like what he says or
how he says it, but he is usually right on the money.

>I began wrecking and have been caving 6 or 7 yrs.

Yeah, so. I am so fucking sick and god damn tired of assholes saying, "I've
been diving for....." Who gives a rat's ass how long you have been diving,
it still does not mean you are doing it right. In fact you can get away with
bullshit like Jersey reels because diving is not rocket science. However,
some ways are much more ideal than others.

>It is NOT all the way george sees it.

Maybe not, but he is pretty damn close most of the time.

>Matter of fact if he saw
>some of his safety or bottle divers

Are you talking about George or new divers up and comming that are learning
the ropes? George is the one sharing most of the information, not the safety
divers, so what is your point?

>You can actually learn from an O.W. student.

You can learn from anyone if you pay close enough attenetion.

>I again have picked up divers fresh out of an A.O.W. class that
>are better divers than what I've seen of some of his crew.

Prove it. I'd like to see this.

>I am speaking re: bouyancy, resolve to solve problems and
>even ability to controll pre panic stages. Talk about
>Wakulla NOT being a training ground.....

Jeff, you are full of shit. Are you jealous because you can't dive Wakulla?
 Sounds like it.

>I would rather learn one thing from a humble man than ten
> from a self centered close minded clown.

Close minded? You are pretty stupid. The methods George uses and advocates
are refined for the type of diving he does, but don't stop
there..............these same methods work extremely well for most other
types of diving as well. Will other methods work, no matter how streamlined
they are NOT. Yes, they will work and you can get by, but they may very well
be less than ideal. The Jersey reel proves this point. It will work, and
you can get by with it, but it is less than ideal because a smaller more
streamlined reel will work more effectively. To use a Jersey reel you have
to switch the line quite frequently, even when you just take it with but
don't use it, because it rots. The safety reels are much smaller and you
don't have to change the line so often. Nylon isn't biodegadable you might
say. Big deal, if it is an emergency, then I will deal with the nylon on
another dive. I can always come back and pick it up on a subsequent dive.
The point is, Jersey reels are not necessary, you can do everything with a
smaller more streamlined reel.

>Now a step further.. being Nationaly certified in rescue work

Yeah, so what. Does that make you Einstein?

>I warrent you this; ANYONE that is that blind to his personal >weakness
(demonstrated by verbal surety) is an accident
>waiting to happen.

It took a natioanly certified rescue personel to tell us that? You are
kidding right? Any moron could figure that out, thank you for stating the
obvious. It is also obvious that you do not know George. You only know what
he has said. Ever dove with him?

>(demonstrated by verbal surety)

What does George's verbal surety have to do with his diving? Not a fucking
thing.

>It may not happen but the odds are it will.
> But then it will be a stroke or a manufacturer they trusted or
> ANYONE else. His actions demonstrate to me he is more
>interested in being RIGHT than teaching and THAT IS
>DANGEROUS.

If your statement was accurate, then it would be dangerous. But George has
shared more knowledge about configurations and gear than anyone. You have
been cave diving for how many years? and you have shared what? Yeah, that's
right, I don't know because it has been very little if anything at all.

>PS I've used a jersey reel for years on wrecks with fish net
>all over them viz 6 inches to 5 feet. I to date have not been
>hung up on my Jersey but have on clips. Many times on these
> dives you look up and there is net over head.

Like I said tough guy, you can get away with using shit, but one
day............
