Now, within that statement there is a piece of advise that a lot of us seem to forget. There is ALWAYS something to learn or refine. You stop learning when you close your eyes and ears. Take the best from both worlds and put it to work for you. I don't frequent caves, but I can appreciate the simplistic and streamlined approach that cavers strive for. Considering that wrecks have at least the same potential for snagging poorly attached or placed gear couldn't something be learned? I think so.
