I was kind of wondering about this myself. But, knowing the Navy, they 
would chalk this up as a training mission and be happy for the free 
positive PR. How about that kick-ass research vessel? Talk about the 
ultimate dive boat. I wonder how much dough that baby cost a day to run. 
Ballard seems to me to be kind of a weird dude, but he sure has the 
connections. Can you imagine how pissed he must have been when he 
realized that he could have picked up all that booty? Instead he took he 
decided to be holy and the commercial guys cleaned his clock. The Titanic 
stuff is on display here in Virginia Beach, Va.
