In reality scooters R not just for extending range,
but also reduce effort, thus reducing CO2 production,,
a putative contributor to diving nasties like DCS,
oxtox & narcosis (OK the last one is not an issue with
trimix).
Thus scooters R not for the lazy, but for the thinking
diver.
My concern is - what happens if the scooter quits x
hundred ft from the anchor line? Back-up scooter?
