No it's not, you're hallucinating. (You don't know what hell is until 
you've been set upon by the anti-DIR boys, so play along). You regret 
doing it but can't change back because your dog (cat, alligator, etc.) 
ate the transformer and choked to death on a D ring.

Use the buckle. Some say to put it on so the lever is on the inside, but 
the way I look at it the only reason to use the extra buckle is to keep 
your light from falling off the belt when setting up your gear. Once in 
the water it is not serving any purpose as your main buckle is there to 
hold it in place.

Should you have to pull your light off during a dive, consider it 
expendable and let it drop. If you have the leasure time to put it back 
on fine, but don't kill yourself trying.
