Where are you running your boat?

 I have not noticed any propensity for SP regulators to freeze,

I have only ever seen one reg freeze up.   It actualy shut off.  It was a
dacor reg out of the box.  It was the dacor sevice tech for a local dive
shop that was diving it.  I don't think he even dives any more.

On your boat all regs have the same % rate of freeflow.  When I ran my boat
I kept a runnig tailly of brand name failures( I didn't care to record the
models).  Sertain brand name stuck out like a sore thumb.
