Is there some quantum singularity hovering over the Great Lakes that only affects Scubapro regs? (SNIP)>> I don't think there is a universal opinion that Scubapro Regulators are prone to freezing in the Great Lakes. As I wrote before, I have never had my Mk20/D400 with TIS freeze and I dive all year round in the Great Lakes. On my charter boat I have not noticed any propensity for SP regulators to freeze, but I think that I have seen regulators of every brand there is freeze up at one time or another. I have also listened to proponents and detractors of every brand swear that their chosen brand never freezes and that the other brand is especially prone to the problem.
