It is often noted (and I've noticed it myself) that speed of descent
affects narcosis levels.  Because the only non-mechanically-assisted
way to speed down to depth is to kick down -- head first -- we may be
on to something here.  

The control would be to test chamber dives done with different descent
rates, where the subjects are neither head-down nor exercising. 

Anyone have any info?  My personal anecdotes are that exercise
(increased CO2) and rapid descents (head-down -- is that it?)
definitely increase narcosis for me.
