You gotta learn somewhere. If they got blown out and limited to inshore wrecks they may have been planning a deeper penetration dive and ended up all dressed up with nowhere to go. I have buddies who practice their cave diving skills on inshore wrecks that you couldn't get trapped in if you tried. They can still practice line laying and working together as buddies, etc. and it's more interesting than a quarry.
