I've been sitting back and watching the various "opinions" about
artifact appropriation off of wrecks. Some interesting points have been
made and much of it has been just plain babble.
But this last comment is absurd. Flowers are "placed" on a grave out of
respect for the dead. The dishes and portholes of a wreck have nothing
to do with any lost souls and were not "placed" there for them. That's
like saying if I take a rock off of the ground I'm showing disrespect
for the people buried in it (and if that's what you believe then you
just have some strange beliefs).
