Andy everyone must pick the system that works best for them. the most important thing you mentioned is " i can dispose of it with one hand" . i would only change that by saying either hand. dive on & on hank In a message dated 97-01-22 14:51:04 EST, you write: << Subj: Re: Wreck gear rigging Date: 97-01-22 14:51:04 EST From: Andrew.Cohen@no*.go* (Andrew Cohen) To: wreckdiver@wreckdiver.com (wreckdiver@wreckdiver.com), Rob.de_Groot@gi*.in*.co* (Rob.de_Groot@gi*.in*.co*) Try rolling the liftbag, and placing it through two bungie loops at the base of your backplate. It is out of the drag stream and can be removed with one hand. I keep tools in a nylon sack; not the mesh bug bag material, but a solid nylon cloth bag with a bug-bag type wire closure. I can clip it off to a D ring, or carry it, and it does not hang up on the wreck like a mesh bag. If it gets snagged, or the shit hits the fan I can dispose of the whole thing with one motion.
