According to Tim Chapman at OTS - their mikes are designed with a thin
membrane that keeps water out for a while.  I've accidentally soaked mine at
80 fsw (scratching my nose while inverted....) and all that happened is that
my comm level output went down.  After drying the mike out for a few hours,
it was back to normal.
