I've been using OTS equipment for the last year - I have 4 AGA's equipped for underwater comm. We use 2 SSB-2000 units, one SSB-2001 (the "Professional" unit) and 2 "BUDS" units (AGA with buddy phone attached). We also have 2 different topside comm. rigs which allows everyone on the boat to hear what is going on underwater, and to communicate with the divers as well. This system is really outstanding. We've used it in some of the murkiest conditions you could imagine - not only does it allow the divers to keep track of each other ("yeah, dude, I'm right behind you, but so is a tiger..."), but also allows those on the boat to monitor the dive as well, and add useful information when needed ("lunch is ready!"). I am convinced that it is one of the best, safest ways to dive, and I'll never dive without it again. I'm having a mask modified to fit their equipment for my rebreather as well. OTS supports their products, and are really helpful too. This isn't an ad for OTS - I just happen to like their stuff. If you want more information - contact OTS in Costa Mesa, CA. Ask for Mike Pellisier or Tim Chapman. Later. Kevin. HeyyDude
