I'm wondering how come you don't trust your block? I know people flame a lot
about blocks and getting the wrong mix. I use a block too because I dive
deep mix with an Aga Full Face. I also k now others who do. A block is
a very logical and easy way to accomplish this, but care must be used as
is true in ALL diving. I used multi-turn needle valves instead of 1/4
turn because I don't want the valves to have a leakby flow that would
give the wrong mix...it requires me to make a few turns to get full flow,
but up here in the north (cold water) it also allows the ability to shut
off a cylinder to the mask, or slow the flow into the mask in case of a
freeflow.

As far as your comm system question goes, the company I like is:

Ocean Technology systems
2950 Airway Avenue
Costa mesa, CA 92626
(714) 754-7848

Now don't take this as a big sales pitch, but we are a dealer for OTS,
so I'm sure there are lots of stores that also are. Call up OTS and
see what they have to say about who is near you, but if you can't
get any good results, write me back.

Hope it helps, they're good units...

Switching gases with a full face mask.
I use an AGA and made up a switching block myself, but I am not very
confident with it.
It has 3 inputs and 2 outputs but for tri-mix I really need 4 inputs.
Do you have any recomendations as to a design or manufacturer of a good,
reliable block?

Also who makes the SSB-2000/2001 comms units that were mentioned?

Any information that you could supply, such as company names, tel. numbers,
prices, etc.
would be a great help to me. Thanks in advance
