(b) Tanks with no manifold, one tank has a reg with one second-stage, the other tank has a reg with two second stages. The more second stages hanging about one diver, the more to get tangled and cause confusion which is which and to get snagged or fouled in things and to cause hydrodynamic drag in swimming. But one octopus is useful.
