I meant change it to *1/3* instead of 1/2., and make the third deep stop
1/2 the distance from the 2nd deep stop to the first deco stop. I.e.,
Bottom is 220, first "required" stop is 40: hang out at 160 for a minute
or two (220-40=180, 180/3=60; 220-60=160), then again at 120 for a minute
or two (160-40=120, 120/3=40; 160-40=120), then again at 80 for a minute
or two (120-40=80, 80/2=40; 120-40=80), then go on out and finish your
decompression schedule. If you're worried about the extra ongassing on
the deep stops, then extend your 20 and 10-foot stops by 20%. If you're
using a computer (which you shouldn't be unless you're diving a Cis-Lunar
or Oceanic rebreather, because there are no other computers available
that account for Helium, and you shouldn't be doing a 220' dive without
helium), then stay at least 20 feet deeper than the computer's ceiling,
and don't ascend above 20 until the computer clears. This advice applies
ONLY to deep bounce dives, where the distance between the bottom and the
first deco stop is very large. I would recommend other things for
different profiles.

The following still applies:

> fault for diving in the first place. If you don't get bent, send me
