At the risk of being tagged a nickelrocketeer -- we've seen the SCUDA suggested, as well as the fanny-pack flasks. How about a vinyl bag mounted in the dead space between doubles, or between a main and a pony? This should be something that would be easy to jury-rig. As long as the bag contained no air, it should hold any volume of water (your noncarbonated rehydration fluid goes here). I guess you'd want a drinking tube down to the bottom of the bag, and you'd need to hover head-up for it to work well. A water-tight cap is a given. Several years ago I saw a suitable bag sold to motorcycle racers that wasfilled with ice water and placed in the channel up the middle of your back to keep racers cool during sprint races. If these are still available, you'd need only to drop a drinking tube down the middle and silicone it into the cap. Jim Strohm PADI OWSI 51985
