Subject: Compressor question

A friend located a pair of 3500 psi, 15 cfm air compressors made
by a company called Daveco.

Anybody have any information on what these are likely to be?  Anybody
ever seen or used anything like these?

It's said that their original use was for starting aircraft jet engines.
