I actually tested the Nemesis II in a pool before I bought it. It was hooked up to a Prism, and worked fine in 10' of crystal clear 75F water ;). I don't know how real my problems are yet, but several people have mentioned that they also experience too frequent transmission failures, and have suggested a workaround that moves the TU out from behind my steel tanks (oh boy, more surgical tubing). Unfortunately, this would mean moving my gauges from the left HP port to the right. I don't like having anything but reg hoses on my right. Beuchat called me yesterday at about noon PDT and asked me to ship both units back to them, which I've done. If I get an explanation of the fix from them, I'll post it. They said they'd have it back to me by 9/18, just before the Matterhorn expedition on the 21st :(. They verified the WU failure over the phone, so I think it's a real problem. Scott.
