Yes. M.D.E. (Aqualung UK Ltd) supply/make a range of aluminium
cylinders.
I myself would be interested to know what cylinders are made in Europe,
preferably with a M25 neck thread size, aluminium or steel for a 'sensible'
deco
size. We were going to use some 'old' 1978 (never used & now back in test) 4
litre bottles, but I'm not sure if these are a little on the small size. There
is also a query regarding the taper thread, sealed with ptfe tape...as to
whether we could get these 'oxygen serviced'. MDE only offer a 3 litre pony
bottle or a 10 litre main bottle. Does anyone else make a 5 or a 7 litre
bottle
any more ??
Is a taper thread steel bottle with ptfe tape around the valve thread OK
to be converted into oxygen service ?? We want to use them for Nitrox50 to
Nitrox 100 (ie 100% O2). Any comments anyone ?
