What exactly are "wanna-bees" and how does one avoid them? Are these the bees that buzz "wannnaaaa...wwaaaannnnaaaa..."? Or is this - the "Nazi's Wanna Bees" (that being the correct usage of the term "nazi's")? It is best not to attempt to spell-out colloquial terms as they are typically passed along verbally and have no meaning when you attempt to type them phonetically. What ARE you trying to say? Try to be clear about your message before you press send, please. This is as ridiculous as the original "Nazi's" rubbish. BTW - to "pontificate", or to preach, is to place rhetoric and faith above logic and reason. I see nothing but reason behind the practices described by George and other proponents of DIR, and yes - I am an inexperienced diver with 65 dives total. You don't need thousands of dives to know crap when you hear it. It's called common sense, though obviously it is an uncommon quality among some. Perhaps the survival instinct is stronger in some than in others? This is noteworthy because it contrasts sharply with the psychologically sick person's tendency to be threatened by the unfamiliar, the ambiguous , the unknown.
