Randy, funny how you weenies can't take what you dish out, then you post for help hoping an old smokie like Joe and a known liar like G will help you out. That makes no difference to me. G can post all long detailed stuff that is not really needed, to impress you novice divers. The truth is I have over 1500 logged dives to depths(no students I don't teach, I only do real dives) and CNS clock numbers that would make most of you guys shit in your DS and bolt for the surface. I have never toxed and only felt what COULD have been the symptoms of an oxtox once. Also for WIW I along with a few others will be testing some decompression gases, no I did not come up with them, Tom Sawicki did, I don't dream up the stuff, I'm just the guy who will do it. Remember him George, he is the guy who is pounding you in private right now as he does not care to post to this list, it is too much of a waste of his time. He was not happy with your scooter and the fact that you lied on Quest about the "idiosyncratic" species and the 28 you found in Mexico. That is the area of his study and every creditable find of these things is reported to him and his co worker as they are the experts for them. Care to post his private emails to the list? Maybe this will ring a bell.... And I love the "idiosyncratic" species. You might as well have said hooogalabooogala species, it would have meant as much. Actually, maybe you didn't lie, your just too ignorant to know what you found. It is just amazing how you have been able to bully people into pulling the wool over their own eyes about you. Randy you are not a wreck diver with any status or notable dives, but you are wrong. Many divers have toxed doing the 200ft weenie dives. Often the cause is the start of the dive, weenies will often use a travel mix when it is not needed because they have fear of a mix that is close to being hypoxic or use it in their plan to reduce deco time (so they say). Then they sometimes dive a hot mix like air because they think they are good on it. All these things start the CNS clock rolling and then they try to control it with deco mixes like 80/20. This is because they have a fear of 02 exposure and do not know how to manage the clock when it goes past or gets close 100%. 100% on your CNS clock does not mean anything if you take breaks to reduce the exposure . Which is how you really manage the clock.Oxygen poisoning is determined by interactions between the oxygen dose and the relative susceptibilities of the exposed tissue. You must take into account PO2 and duration of the exposure. Each person can have different levels of exposure they can handle and some will say they have the correct answers on this subject, but the only answer they have is for themselves or the test subject when pushing the limits. I could quote numerous lines from books, post, and many teachings. This would not make you any better at understanding it or make you a better diver. All things are debatable and each expert will have their own opinion on this huge subject. My personal thought is NEW techdivers should only spend 10 mins on 02 at a time and no one should never spend more than 20 minutes at a time on it. Only those who want to push the limits and brag how big their dick is would do that or if they are in a controlled environment. There are other things to take into consideration, damage to the lungs and the oxygen window. Breaks should be taken with your back gas, unless you are doing some serious bottom times or deep dives ect........ you should never see a deco that requires more than 30-40 mins on 02 and can be broken up very easy with back gas. If you were doing more than this then you would not have to ask any questions about 02 exposure. I am not an expert on it or claim to be. I just do the dives and survive them, which is my goal for me and those around me. Only Internet divers need so much basic information..............which brings us to you and the rest of this list. BTW I know I'm an ass, everyone around me knows I'm an ass. They also know I'm right and tell the truth.
