When I looked into IANTD nitrox courses last year my diving experience of
being a BSAC advanced diver, over 200 dives including decompression dives
were taken as a direct route into advanced.  The basic course could be
omitted.  So although there are three levels for IANTD nitrox courses
previous experience in other relevant areas was taken into account.
