Jim,

Correct. I was over on the Scubadiving.com list for about a month or so and
was stunned at the stupidity that is accepted as normal over there. I
finally got fed up. No matter what you say about dangerous practices there
will be some idiot that engages in it: solo diving, deep air, 3, 4 & 5
buddies, pony bottles, Spare Air, bondage wings, D-rings out the ass, . If
you have some convoluted, BS piece of crap that you want to sell to divers,
show up at a rec diving list and you'll sell out in an hour.

Yes, we were all rec divers once, but that doesn't excuse stupidity once the
facts have been explained to us. And the problem with these lists is that it
seems that the dumber you are, the more likely you are to be vocal about it.
