Hi William,

I would recommend the Halcyon Explorer reel and safety spools highly. I
also own a Dive Rite primary reel and safety reel that I bought before I
had the Halcyon stuff and the Dive Rite reels now just stay at home in a
box somewhere. The Halcyon primary reel and safety spool are in most ways
superior IMHO.

For a single tank adapter, I would highly recommend the excellent stainless
steel STAs made by Scott Koplin. They are available weighted and
unweighted. I own a weighted Scott Koplin STA that replaced my original
Halcyon aluminum STA that I never use anymore. I've used one of the Dive
Rite STAs, and I didn't think it was anything special. My Scott Koplin STA
has turned out to be one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Try this
website for more info:

Good luck.

Bob
