I have to agree. Trey already knows that I'm not a kiss ass, and maybe I'm even one of the people who've demanded "proof". However, I keep a folder of diving messages that I think might be useful in the future, and 80% of what's in there comes from Trey. Some of them are even answers I eventually got after demanding "proof". Even those of us who are fairly pig-headed will come around if given the opportunity to challenge the system, because the system works so well. I think it's just part of accepting a new system, for some of us. We just need to put it through the wash once and see if it holds up. I can certainly understand that this is tiresome for those who have already figured it out, and who feel that if they've done the BIG dives using this system, they shouldn't have to justify it to those of us playing in the bathtub. Then of course, there are those who just want to challenge DIR because it interferes with their own "religion". I don't see it that way. It's life support, you use what works best. Period, end of story. As far as I'm concerned, that happens to be DIR. The reason I know is that it has withstood trial by fire. Cheers.
