Hello all,

It seems that there is a shop in my area that likes to 
sand blast the interior of steel SCUBA cylinders, even 
if there is slight surface rust.  Any idea how the tank 
manufacturers feel on this?  What about the issues of 
work hardening??  

I have sandblasted many different objects with diffent 
media in the past, although one thing I have noticed is 
that blasted objects seemingly look clean and new while 
hiding more oxidation under the surface.


I will not even get into their policy regarding O2 
cleaning.
