That has to be about the all time stupidest thing I have ever heard. Sand Blasting does work harden the steel making it brittle. This CAN lead to the worst possible type of failure, catastrophic rupture!!! Please tell me who this is so that I can be sure NEVER to fill a tank with one of their stickers on it. I would advise you to stay at least a block or two from this shop at all times. It is an accident waiting to happen. I would also like to take this opportunity to predict the location of the next tank explosion...
