In cold waters/weather nylon mesh freezes gets stiff and cracks. (over time perhaps but will sooner or later.) Not an ideal option up here in the north. Please take a minute and expand on how a hole that "takes a minute" to drain kan act as a water scoop ? I havent experienced that, but then again i'm not scotering so it may be a whole different ballgame then. And I do like the Rockboats. -And everone I know that has them do think they are an improvement over ordinary various kind of fixed attached boots. One of the advantages is that it makes the whole suit easier to wring inside out so that you get it completely dried. Have you actually tried them ? or are you just giving an (un)informed opinion ?
