Subject: DUI CLX VS TLS
Date: Mon, 26 Feb 2001 00:52:28 -0500
Hey Experienced DUI fans I am looking for expert opinions comparing the DUI
TLS 350 and the CLx 450 Drysuit.

Essentially they are the same suit except the CLx has the heavier cordura
over lay on the upper . I have consulted the Techdiver archives and the
question was asked in early 2000 but it seams at the time few divers had
much experience with the new CLx suit. WKPP talks about continuing to use
the TLS but a few members now use the CLx.

Specific areas of interest are from those that have used both

Do you give up a lot of upper body mobility?
Whats the CLx like in cold water (Down to 0c)?
Does it make sense to put some Cordura on the ass

DUI has been experimenting with what they call a cave cut. It is supposed to
be much tighter, has anyone tried one.??

Personally I hate Apeks drysuit valves and prefer Si-tech, DUI uses new
Apeks what are they like?

Some cave divers are ordering suits with a Velcro pocket on the left and a
zippered pocket on the right, personally I like zippers, what this all
about.
