A zippered pocket will never open on it own, never collect sand, the flap
does not get pushed inside when routing deep, i cannot tell if the Velcro is
closed with dry gloves, I have never had a zippered pocket jam. This is not
an argument rather a preference. For what you do I guess you could make do
with Velcro. I like big pockets, but med breasts it's just a preference. I
think I will opp for the TLS rather than the CLx.

How did you come up with your fudged measurements.
