As a lurker on the list, I have been following your thread.  I believe that your
suit meets DIR standards since it is crushed neoprene like the DUI CF 200.  It
is the open cell neoprene that they don't allow.
The fins you are already addressing.  The HID and back up lights are fine.  The
only other problem that you have  is your tanks.  If you sell the HP 100's with
the manifold and buy some LP 94's-112's  with the manifold it should be an even
exchange.  Check out the tanks on Ebay...I have made over 50 transactions
through Ebay and it works.  You could always borrow tanks for the class and use
your own gear.  I don't think borrowed tanks will effect the knowlege gained.  I
use rental tanks for Mexico cave diving all the time, but with my own kit
without problems.
