	Han Weegink is correct- In the U.S., and I believe most foreign
carriers, it is HIGHLY illegal to carry explosive devices or combustibles
onto aircraft.  

	Apparently, there are also non-obvious effects, like rapid
repressurization of devices like flares that can cause them to 
autoignite-over and above the obvious problems of having ignition
devices near thousands of kilos of petroleum...
