Subject: Re: zyban and diving
I promised to look into this subject and correct myself if I was wrong
(yeh, right, when was the last time you heard a doctor say- "Jeez, I
didn't know what I was talking about!?")
Anyway, I have looked it up and couldn't find anything to contradict my
original post. However, I can't discount the experience of divers who
say they have used Zyban, dived, and lived to tell the tale.
All of these things are based on statistical risk. I just can't
recommend anyone use this medication while diving simply because I can't
give any advice as to who is more at risk for seizures.
There, you have it, a doc who admits to not knowing all the answers.
