Of course the PC generated tables are wrong! It's a model approximating what happens in our body. It is *more right* than most wrist computers. If you're too stupid/careless/useless to copy tables properly, or commit them to memory, or read them properly underwater, or understand them, then you are too stupid/careless/useless to dive. Diving isn't for everyone. If you rely on electronics, you will be let down sooner or later. Bottom time can be approximated by your gas supply if your watch/BT fails. steve ----- Original Message ----- From: Ian Puleston <DiverIan@pa*.ne*> To: <techdiver@aquanaut.com> Sent: Monday, June 12, 2000 1:17 PM Subject: RE: Oxygen Toxicity - using 100% in open water > > How useful are your 2 computers when the deco that the computers suggests > > is wrong anyway? > > What's the alternative - cut tables using software on a PC.
