Subject: More questions...redundant buoyancy
More newbie questions...sorry, but I don't want to repeat the mistake
of buying gear that ultimately doesn't work.

Regarding redundant buoyancy, is your drysuit considered redundant
buoyancy, is it assumed your wings won't fail...or what?

I found this in the archives:

(I looked at a reply from Trey, and he didn't disagree with it...)

and this:

Yes, it is called balancing your rig in the first place. The drysuit is
not "redundent" buoyancy, it is built in buoyancy that needs to be
offset with steel tanks or weight etc.

So, Trey, anyone, care to comment? I'd like to know if DIR includes
redundant buoyancy, if it's the drysuit, and if not, why not and
should I use dual wings?

Thanks.
