Stuart,

seeing your bit on the UKP100 trimix course reminded me of an incident =
in Scapa Flow with this same bloke.

He's just opened his outfit (94 ?), and at the time he was the only one =
we could get spaces on a boat with (should this have warned us ? - the =
boat turned out to be a RIB), Lets think he:

almost (with 6") scalped 2 of us with the prop
ran 1 of us down in the rib
threw us all out the boat by going too fast and hitting a wave, then =
proceeded to moan about all the extra weight of the twinsets, and how =
expensive fuel was,.......
reversed the trailer off the slip
was petrified of his wife - he got really (like really) worried one day =
when he took off his glove and noticed he'd lost his wedding ring - into =
the water 30 mins goes by (like does he really expect to find it..), 40 =
mins, at this point I pick up his glove, look inside, and viola, there's =
the ring - took us a further 10 mins of engine revving to get him back =
on board - then proceeded to (try &) charge us for the air he'd used !

Not sure his boat handling has got any better, 'cos his accounting =
obviously hasn't......

And now, anyone who reads 9>90 magazine will have seen the ad for the  =20
10UKP trimix cert (about $15US). At least the government isn't stupid  =20
enough to get involved there this time.
