ok folks,

I've been a lurker for a while, and I'd like to ask for some learned =
advice from you guys ('n gals).

I'm currently cert'ed as TDI x'range, although haven't done much deeper =
stuff for a while as I left the UK for Malaysia 2 years ago, and have =
been struggling all this time to find anyone interested in doing more =
than look at upper reef fish!.

There are some good wrecks off the Malaysian coast (eg the 2 brit =
b'ships Prince of Wales & Repulse), and I'd love to do them. Repulse is =
in ~56 metres, so is do-able on air, but PoW is about 10m deeper, just =
pushing the 1.6 ppO2.=20

ok, scene set, what I'd like to do is to dive safer, dropping the ppO2 =
and END - from what I've found out there are IANTD and TDI "shoals" (is =
this the term for a collection of strokes?) in the region. So, question =
is - do I choose one of these ?, even if only to get a trimix card, and =
continue my education from the reading material, esp from here and other =
sites ?. Not neccessarily looking for which one is best, but I want to =
avoid which one is worst since I do value waking up in the morning.

I'm sure others have tread these steps before, but I couldn't find =
anything in the archives.

thanks in advance,

Steve
