Ron, You misunderstood. The tab is on the Oceanics. It is quite small and you really have to look for it. It prevents the cover from loosening - not a problem if you check your gear before a dive! No doubt Oceanic wouldn't approve but what the hect! Don't know what Scuba Pro or Apeks uses on those regs as I am diving Oceanics. Just look at the design and see if you can unscrew the cover without releasing something.
