Bernard, Educated opinion: For clarification, PRK is simply the early form of Lasik, before they raised the flap to do the burn. It is much more painful for a longer period. The Navy and or government has never been known for there intelligent decisions, they are obviously acting out of ignorance if they would support PRK and not Lasik. I would certainly not look to them for good judgment. Secondly, unless the navy had you examined during your healing period or you told them about it, they could not possibly tell even by examination that you had undergone Lasik! I think it is a decision everyone must make on an individual basis according to there circumstances. Regards, Richard Daniel -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
