Christian, True Manos does seem to have more problems than one would figure to be normal, however in his behalf; about four month's ago the cap came off the top of my inflater hose (out of no where). My efforts to inflate my wing were in vane. It went in one end and came out the top without ever intering the wing. Didn't matter which direction I turned. I had both a second bladder and was wearing a dry suit. It wasn't a problem to switch the Lp hose to the second inflator. With my configuration, I have tried an unassisted assent in the past and not had any problems other than a little extra effort (twin 96's) still without ditching any weight. My point here is it didn't take a shark attack and happened outside the wreck in open water. I think he's just looking for a little local knowledge.
