This is probably a better idea. The cheapest PowerPC laptop I've seen (the
slowest I'd bother with doing emulation) is a 1400 series for $800-900. You
can probably get a slow pentium that would be as fast for under $500 and you
wouldn't mind losing it. On the other hand, I'd much rather have a cheap
MAC, even at a divesite.

I've seen a lot of the 5300 series MACs that run a PowerPC at 100Mhz for
UNDER $500, but I don't know how fast it would run Abyss in emulation.
However, once the MAC Abyss version is out, the 5300 might be just the
ticket.
