Buy some deco software and play with it for a while, and read some of the books. My technique is having done several hundred extreme deco dives and just knowing what has worked, and documenting that and then referring to it until I could see the pattern. We also then used some of this over the whole team over several years, and have smoothed it out to where it works for everyone, and we are continuing to refine it and improve it, which means we are finding ways to do it faster and cleaner, with better results. You need software that you can take the bullshit safety factors out of, or you need to just plug models into a spreadsheet program that will take the macros. The latter is how I did it. Or you could have guys like Bill Mee, Bill Hamilton, John Rose, and others to work with and make it real easy, with a test subject like me who will try anything. Think it through. xx wrote: > > George, > > I agree with you, but how do us neophytes get started?
