Subject: Re: Isn't oxygen, oxygen?
The bottles are filled separately, ie all of the Aviators Oxygen is
filled together. The usual routine is the USP and Aviators get a
different vacuum protocol than the welders, like doing it three times
for usp and once for welders, but as you say, oxygen is oxygen. They are
"guaranteeing" different percentages of extraneous crap with the usp and
aviators.

There is one big vat of liquid oxygen, that is where they fill it from.
Some boost it as well.

Most places these days will not sell anything but USP ( medical) helium
or Aviators and USP oxygen if it is for diving purposes. That is all I
can get down here thanks to the accidents caused by the usual assholes.
We are just lucking we can still get gas for diving. Luckily, my family
also owns a few boat yards and welding shops that use all of the gases,
so I will always be able to get it. That is how I had to get it at
first.
