Bill, back on the subject that started this sidebar, I was testing a new rebreather this weekend and I started remembering all of the other reasons why I used the reg instead of the mouth. If I take a breath of oxygen from the reg and then do a "rescue" breath, I am not delivering "95%" as some dumb asshole said on here , I am delivering about 45%, but that is not the problem, the problem is that the reason I have lost the percentage is that now I have "decoed" out nitrogen into my lungs, along with water vapor and CO2. Anytime you do a "rescue" breath you are giving the victim a CO2 blast, a water vapor blast, and whatever else is differentiated out depending on what you are breathing, and all of this is just to find a way to argue with me , not any effort to do the right thing. You know , the thing that really pisses me off about a jerk like that Karan is that I have a ton of information, and when we deal with subjects and not with fucking with me, I can access that information and reproduce it. She got me so pissed off that I forgot the years of rebreather use and just reacted to her bullshit. Next time they get the uncut version first, and we move on to the information immediately. Knowing what we konw about rebreathers and staying alive and the risks of rereathers, listening to a complete asshole like karen is criminal. Hypoxia is a serious condition with permanent repercussions, and this asshole has no buiness getting on here and distracting people from the truth with her crap. The fact is she and those like her and the strokes she represents are what is killing people and diving in my opinion. One of the training agencies just waxed another one in a deep air class this weekend - those agencies are the sources of the bullshit that people like karen come up with on here . ill Wolk wrote: > > On11/13/99 10:51 AM, Sean Cary wrote: > > >That's why we need a "loser pays" tort reform law passed...it would cut down > >on the bullshit lawsuits that we all face.
