Jim,

OK, I believe you. It goes against my gut, but I don't have the dives there
to dispute what experience tells you. I'm gonna have to try this sometime.

I've never been diving in NJ. Where should a caver boy like myself get wet
at up there?

Thanks for the note,

JoeL

In a current there is an eddy zone behind the boat you can get into that
helps out, and you do have to make your move for the ladder quickly and not
dilly-dally or fiddly-fuck around. And you certainly don't take your fins
off, you are screwed if you do. I will watch the ladder area from my
hangline and make sure the coast is clear before making my move. And don't
forget to unclip your canister lighthead from your shoulder Dring and drape
it around your neck to keep the line from catching on the fin ladder pegs.
