Fuck that. If you'd like a technical education, feel free. But if you have aspirations at recovering bodies, well, you have *no* idea what (literal) nightmares you will subject yourself and your spouse to, for years to come. Everybody I know who's done body recoveries, from NYPD divers, who do this stuff every day, to contingency support guys in remote locations, will all admit to having been "matured" by the various incidents, but *none* of them would hesitate for a second to undo the whole thing, if they had the opportunity to magically reverse time with a brain wipe. And don't try to fool yourself with macho bullshit. -Will On Wed, 27 Oct 1999, Dan Volker wrote: > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Stephen Grasso [mailto:sgrasso@be*.ne*] > Sent: Wednesday, October 27, 1999 9:02 AM > To: Public Safety Diving > Subject: <no subject> > > PublicSafetyDiving The Underwater Crime Scene Technician 1 course is > filling up fast, If you > are planning to attend please call and secure your spot, Class size is > limited, Information on the class; > > Underwater Crime Scene Technician I > > November 12-14, 1999 > > hosted by . . . > Flagler County Sheriffs Office > Bunnell, Florida > > Taught by Dive Rescue International, Inc. > > The Underwater Crime Scene Technician I (UCSTI) program prepares public > safety divers for basic response to underwater crime scenes, introduces > the student to surface and subsurface crime scene investigation, and > prepares surface support personnel to compliment the efforts of > investigative teams.
