Subject: Re: innertubes
I have used surgical tubing also and do not have much use for it, but I do
like bungee cord. I have two bungee cords on each of my tanks. When I bought my
motorcycle innertube it cost me like $18 a few years ago. I cut 1.5 inch bands
out
of it using a utility knife and a board.. The only kind of innertubes I could
get
for free were car tubes, which were too big. I can buy quite a few feet of bulk
bungee cord for $18.
One other aspect, bungee cord is easier to grab with a gloved hand as it
stands off of the tank. Inner tubes lay relativly flat, making it harder to tuck
the air hose under.
