This is a good question, I don't know the answer.... Maybe it's you must be a current standing member of the WKPP, maybe you need to have the loudest keyboard, maybe the longest dick (or the shortest), maybe sacrifice a chicken...... Personally, this thread is putting me to sleep. I think we all need to spend less time arguing about what I would consider a BS specific (redundant bottom timer) and more time diving.... A second bottom timer not DIR, that's ridiculous, shut up and get back in the water!!!!! I think someone else said it a few days ago. If you only plan to use one light and you have a buddy with you at all times then why carry 3 lights? Isn't your backup plus your buddies backup enough redundancy? What are the odds of both your and your buddies backup light going dead while both primaries going? Seems like the same odds as both your and your buddies backup times going. I would think that the 3rd backup light that you and your buddy are carrying is non-essential redundancy.... A backup light is a whole heck of a lot bigger than a pesky little bottom timer. Is the 3rd backup light less DIR (more strokish) than the 2nd backup timer??? Oops, I forgot, it's either black or white, DIR or DIW. Now, what are we going to do about all those 3rd backup light carrying stokes.... Personally, if this thread is going to center around bottom timers I think we should just stop it right now!
